The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is hosting a new event on September 8th called The Great Museum Race. Registration opens on July 8th, and teams will compete in many different games with the top three teams taking home prizes.
Teams of up to four will take on 15 tasks including memory games, physical challenges, and single and multi-player activities. Participants are encouraged to wear the proper clothing for the competitions. Cheerleaders are welcome to attend free of charge to cheer on their squads throughout the night.
Businesses can use this night as a team building activity, but couples and friends are also welcome to attend for a night out. Teams can be between 2-4 people. The cost to participate is $50 for members and $60 for nonmembers per team, and a waiver must be signed to compete.
Team check in is at 5:30 p.m. and guests can have a cocktail while they wait for the race to start at 6 p.m. A cash bar and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the night. The competition will end at 9 p.m. All attendees must be 21 years or older.
Participants should meet at the Mississippi River Discovery Center with the event taking place throughout campus that night.
